Before pursuing my art career, I attended the University of Florida and majored in Computer Science. During that time, I realized that coding and mathematics was not my true calling. Unable to change majors, I continued my studies and graduated in 2003. A year later, I moved back to California and began my artistic endeavor at the Academy of Art. I graduated in 2007 with a BFA in Illustration.

I’m currently working at a software company as a web visual designer. On the side, you’ll find me diligently creating illustrations for my unpublished project. It’s co-created with a good friend of mine and is a mixture of short stories featuring a stuffed bear and his friends. Through my work, I enjoy telling stories that are comical, heartwarming, whimsical, mysterious and enjoyed by viewers of all ages. My work is often a reflection of my life experiences and interactions. The world around me, my friends/family, cultures, etc. help drive my creativity. Though my recent work is created by digital means, I’m slowly re-exploring traditional mediums.

When I’m not busy with work, I enjoy spending time with friends, exploring SF & the bay area, eating ramen in jtown, playing video games and sketching in Yerba Buena. There’s also a chance you may have caught me running in my weird Vibram toe shoes...
